Guide to Computer Programming & Coding Languages: TheTalkingFacts
Again my friends, we are going to learn more about computer but now my topic is different from yesterday because today we are going to talk about Programming languages in computer. It's a good topic if you take deep interest in this article. So, I request you to stay glued to your seats and learn about programming languages.
⏩PROGRAMMING LANGUAGES
Firstly, we will learn about the definition of programming language and why actually we need programming language?
A programming language is a language which is usually used to give instructions to the computer so that the computer can understand and follow these instructions.
We need programming language because computer cannt recognize the languages we speak in our daily life, it only understands the programming language designed specially for computer systems.
Now we will learn about programming language classification i.e how they are actually classified:
Programming languages can be classified into two categories:
1. High level language
2. Low level language
3. Low level language
Now we discuss each one by one:
⏩1. High level language:
1)
Programming languages which can be easily used and understood was felt. These are known as high level language
2)
High level language is a programming language that can be easily used and understood. These are known as high level language, which means they are easier to use and understand than other languages. High level languages are also known as scripting languages because they are not as complicated as other programming languages.
⏩2. Low level language:
1)
Low level languages are machine-based languags. They are written in codes which are easily understood by computer
2)
Low-level languages are machine-based, and they are generally used to create programs that are easy to understand. All programming languages have their own base code, the program language, which includes instructions like "add one to x". High-level languages use a more general type of code that is understandable to human programmers who also write other programs.
Now, we are going to talk about Machine language and Assembly Language
⏩Machine Language:
The machine language of a computer is the lowest level of programming language. While there are many different programming languages, machine language is the building block on which all other languages are based. In this course we will learn how to write and execute machine code. This language also comprises of digit 0 to 1
⏩Assembly Language:
Assembly language is a low-level programming language used to write executables and operating systems. It is called assembly language because it was developed using punch cards to specify the machine instructions that would be performed by an object running on a computer. Assembly language is not necessarily less powerful than other forms of low-level programming languages and can be faster to write, but it does have several limitations that make it difficult for programmers to create complex programs. Assembly languages comprises of alphabetical codes which are called Mnemonics and it is easy than machine language
⏩What are Mnemonics?
Mnemonics are alphabetical codes that are used in Assembly languages. For example instead of using combination of 0s and 1s to represent an addition, the Mnemonics ADD are generally used.
